Goal

Goal

The goal of this project is to design a unified gaming platform that simplifies how players interact with the gaming world - by combining esports viewing, personal game stats, and game discovery into one cohesive experience. This includes creating a seamless user flow, a clean and intuitive interface, and a visual style that feels native to modern gaming culture. The design should reduce friction, encourage engagement, and feel both functional and immersive for casual and competitive gamers alike.

Primary Research

Primary Research

The gaming industry has experienced remarkable growth and diversification in recent years. As of 2025, there are approximately 3.32 billion active video game players worldwide, with Asia accounting for nearly 1.5 billion of them . This expansive user base spans various demographics, platforms, and gaming preferences.

To better understand these dynamics, I conducted informal interviews with 5 competitive gamers and surveyed 15 casual players aged 18–28. These individuals frequently use platforms such as Twitch, Steam, Discord, and various stat-tracking tools. The feedback revealed a common sentiment : the disjointed nature of current gaming platforms leads to a fragmented and less engaging user experience, requiring gamers to juggle multiple interfaces and accounts.
