Gamepinger is a website built to help gamers check real-time ping to various game servers across popular titles. The goal is to let players choose the best server for the lowest latency, improving their gaming experience. The site was created entirely in Framer, with custom React components and AI-assisted coding. As someone with only basic coding knowledge, I took this up as a side project to support the gaming community with a practical tool I wish I had during my competitive esports career.

As a former professional esports player, I understand how crucial low-latency connections are. This tool helps players make smarter decisions about which game server to connect, potentially improving their in-game performance.

How was it Built?

Built in Framer with help from AI-assisted React code, the website uses a custom SimpleRTT component to measure and display ping (RTT) to different game servers in real time. Each server’s latency is shown with a progress bar and color indicators, helping users quickly identify the best server for low-lag gameplay.
